Is Messi winning the 2017 France Ballon d'Or for real?

by - November 11, 2017

The competition for the Ballon d'Or is one of the finest rivalries between two of the world best footballers, namely Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, since 2007. Though Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi secured second and third position in that edition, where Kaká took the upper hand and won it. Though both the young guns Messi and Ronaldo showed immense promise for the upcoming future. Both of them have been dominating every other player for this award. Ronaldo won this award 4 times in the years 2008, 2013, 2014, 2016 and Messi, 5 times in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2015.

Well the biggest question in every football fans mind is that "Who is going to win the 2017 Ballon d'Or?. Is it going to be Messi again or Ronaldo gonna equal it this time?".  Well no worry fans you will be answered soon.

But the real problem is that a leaked picture of the French Magazine has got all over the social networking sites such as facebook and twitter that literally shows MESSI IS GOING TO WIN IT.

Though the news is not confirmed by the French agencies but the picture still gives hope to all Messi and Barcelona fans around the world as Ronaldo is already the favourite to win this prestigious award consecutively after bagging La Liga aswell as Champions League. Well if this magazine's picture is not a hoax then both Ronaldo and his fans must actually be afraid. A year back the France Football Magazine published about the Ballon d'Or  and had Cristiano Ronaldo's picture and he eventually went on to win it.

Well, everybody knows that currently FIFA and France Football have some problem with the Ballon d'Or issue. Ballon d'Or is no longer under FIFA (was between 2009-2015) and is directly under the French Football. Well this can possibly be a reason France Football wouldn't want to give away the prize to someone who won THE FIFA BEST.

All these are all just facts and nothing is official yet. Let's just wait for Ballon d'Or ceremony and all answers to our questions will be given.
