Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur Preview

High Pressure Drama
Manchester City will be looking to extend their Premier League winning run to 16 as they will face Tottenham Hotspur at Ethiad this Saturday. Pep Guardiola's men have recently broke Premier league record of consecutive wins (15) beating Arsenal's record (13) of 2001-02 season and are seating quite comfortably at the top of the table with 49 points 11 ahead of second place  Mancheter United.

Certainly Mauricio Pochettino will have tough task to make City taste their first league lost of the season but he had done it last season when his defeated Guardiola's men who were in six game winning streak at the start of the season. But they have much tougher ask this season given with the fact that Cityzens have threatened on European stage losing just once over the course of the season . If Pochetino wants to win this fixture he will need to stop the fireballs of City attackers who have scored 49 goals so far in the league and have only conceede 10. He will need to find a way to stop de bruyne's brilliance and a rejuvenated Raheem Sterling.

Pochettino does seem this fixture to prove that his team is certainly one of the raging force in England. But thins are not looking better for Spurs with Jan Vertonghen cautioned  as he came through the mid week match against Brighton without collecting what would be the costly fifth  booking of the season . And with Toby Alderweireld and Davinson Sanchez both sidelined due to injury and suspension respectively. Elsewhere, Dele Alli and Mousa Dembele who were rested in mod week clash are expected to be back for Erik lamela and Mousa Sissoko with back four to be the right option.  Spurs will once again expect Harry Kane to make his impression on the game who have already scored (12)  this season. This fixture is certain to be the Pre-Christmas toast for football fans.
