Zidane announced his departure from Real Madrid

by - February 10, 2018

BREAKING: Zinedine Zidane resigns his position as Real Madrid coach after winning three consecutive Champions League trophies. This season was one hell of a blunder for Real Madrid at the beginning. The La Liga champions were already 19 points behind the leaders FC Barcelona with one game in hand and knocked out of the Copa del Rey by Leganes.

The Real Madrid boss has said that he do not want to go through the criticism of sacking and hence has confirmed to put forward his  resignation letter to the Real Madrid President, Florentino Pérez. Though has a contract till 2020.

Zidane's Real Madrid has put a great performance last year claiming 5 trophies, missing out only the Copa del Rey. But the situation of Real Madrid this season is seemingly poor with the forwards very less to offer in terms of goals. The arch strikers of Real Madrid Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo are having a dimmed form in La Liga.

Recently it was also reported that Tottenham boss , Mauricio Pochettino is the among the favourites to take over the club. Well the manager has said that he would take Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris to which ever club he would take up his job in. Well, that was hard, ignoring Harry Kane over Lloris?!

Other reports claim that Real Madrid president, Pérez has talked to Joachim Löw and was impressed by the German National Team's World Cup winning coach and is seemingly among the top contendars to take over 13 time UCl winner.
